Swim Helper:

We are always looking for new helpers to assist the swimmers on Saturday mornings.  Roles include helping in the water, helping swimmers to gain awards, one to one support and help in the changing room.  There will also be the opportunity to attend courses free of charge including the chance to become a qualified swimming teacher.

All volunteers will be subject to the necessary DBS checks.

Training Courses:

Two STA courses have successfully taken place at QE - The STA Safety Award and the STA Swimming Teachers Course.  There are always various training courses coming up - contact Jacqui for details.

Duke of Edinburgh's Award:

Volunteering at Wagtails will count towards D of E Award schemes - we have recently signed a student off for their bronze award volunteering section.

Event and Fundraising Volunteers:
We are always looking for volunteers who are able to organise a social or fundraising event.  Examples of past events can be found on our Events pages and we welcome any new ideas.
